    How much fenugreek should be taken per day while breastfeeding?

    Lactaval contains 250 mg of fenugreek per daily dose, which corresponds to the recommended dose per day according to DGE (German Nutrition Society).

    My midwife has recommended taking milk production capsules. Can I start taking them now during pregnancy?

    Lactaval should only be taken after giving birth.

    How does fenugreek affect milk production?

    Unfortunately, we are not allowed to make any statements about this as manufacturers are prohibited from making claims about the effects of specific ingredients under Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006.     Are there medications for milk production that can accelerate my milk let-down?

    It's best to breastfeed your baby frequently right from the start, as this ensures your breast is regularly emptied and stimulates milk production.
